We are hiring Underwriters for our Non-Agency Products - NO DE REQUIRED!

The Wholesale Underwriter will underwrite loans in accordance with company and investor guidelines, following company's policies and procedures under general supervision. Our loan product offers extremely competitive rates and terms – the best in the industry. The underwriter makes sound decisions ensuring all meet legal and policy requirements. All duties are performed in accordance with company policies, US state and federal laws, and regulations. The target pay range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 plus a monthly incentive plan.

What you'll do :

• Possess thorough knowledge of Non-Agency or NON QM mortgage loan underwriting.
• Maintain highly confidential information concerning loan applicants.
• Require high organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Perform thorough analysis of collateral to ensure property meets investor guidelines, with acceptable appraisal quality and completeness.
• Apply and interpret company underwriting guidelines to make sound credit decisions.
• Complete credit analysis, income analysis, property analysis, ensure proper audits, and verify consistency of loan file information.
• Identify risk factors within each loan, utilizing resources, tools, and documentation to detect red flags and resolve inconsistencies.
• Review and evaluate credit information on mortgage loan documents for acceptability for specific loan programs.
• Determine any conditions, stipulations, or pre-funding requirements.
• Review and clear underwriting conditions, stipulations, or pre-funding requirements.
• Communicate with clients, sales, and operations teams to resolve issues as they arise.

What you'll need :

• 5+ years of mortgage underwriting experience.
• Experience underwriting Non-Agency or Non-QM loans.
• Experience with paperless Loan Origination Systems preferred.
• DU and LP experience required.
• Experience working in a paperless environment preferred.
