What We Do

Provides underwriting support and expertise to company personnel, agents, and customers, related to the issuance of real estate title insurance commitments and policies. Utilizes underwriting standards and guidelines within delegated authority limits to underwrite the issuance of title insurance and provide guidance in real estate settlement services.

What You'll Do:

1. Provides underwriting support, counsel, and authorization to company personnel, agents, and customers regarding real estate title insurance commitments and policies.
2. Utilizes underwriting standards and guidelines within delegated authority limits to underwrite the issuance of title insurance.
3. Provides guidance to company personnel in performing real estate settlement services.
4. Issues underwriting standards and guidelines in accordance with established company processes.
5. Local travel in Colorado.
6. Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

1. High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
2. 5-7 years of title underwriting experience.
3. Familiarity with real estate law.
4. Strong understanding of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of real estate title and settlement processes.
5. General knowledge of Federal and State regulations related to real estate title insurance and settlement services.
6. Understanding of underwriting real estate transactions for issuing title insurance policies.
7. Ability to collaborate and act decisively.
8. Detail-oriented.
9. Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
10. Good organizational skills, able to multi-task, prioritize, and follow up in a timely manner.
11. Strong negotiation skills.
12. Abstract thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

Pay Range: $95,400 - $127,100 annually.

This hiring range is an estimate of the base pay at the time of posting. Pay is based on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, and geographic location.

This position will accept applications on an ongoing basis until filled.
