DUAL North America, Inc. in Dallas, TX, is seeking an Underwriter Personal Lines to manage applications, binders, and in-force policies while applying underwriting guidelines across multiple states and lines of business.

The role requires 5+ years of personal lines underwriting, advanced insurance terminology knowledge, and the ability to multitask and work independently. This is a hybrid role with both remote and on-site work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interpret underwriting guidelines to evaluate risk and determine appropriate handling of submissions.

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and applying underwriting guidelines across multiple states and lines of business. You will work closely with members of the Customer Contact Center and Independent Insurance Agents to ensure that new business and renewal policies are issued and modified in accordance with published guidelines and processes while meeting the needs of our policyholders.As an Underwriter you will independently manage a myriad of different activities on a daily basis including the review of policy applications, binders and in force policies. You will be engaging with independent agents and employees across DUAL via the phone, emails and in a variety of other manners in this fast paced, engaging and dynamic workplace.
