The Merchant Cash Advance Underwriter is a pivotal role responsible for assessing, analyzing, and making decisions on the approval of MCA applications. This position demands a high level of analytical skill, a deep understanding of the MCA product, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in underwriting MCAs, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to supporting business growth through sound financial judgment.

• Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to assess the creditworthiness of businesses applying for Merchant Cash Advances.
• Review and interpret financial statements, bank statements, and credit reports to make informed underwriting decisions.
• Develop and maintain underwriting guidelines and risk assessment models to minimize risk and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure a smooth application process for clients.
• Provide financial expertise and guidance on MCA products to both team members and clients.
• Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes that could impact the MCA sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in underwriting MCAs
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of financial analysis and risk management
