Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing, underwriting, and rating broker submissions for new and renewal business, ensuring completeness and obtaining additional information as needed.
• Marketing to carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, define coverages, and determine commissions.
• Managing renewal specifications, participating in committees, and working with markets to implement annual business plans.
• Reviewing policies and endorsements for accuracy, ordering reports, analyzing inspection reports, and coordinating policy delivery.
• Issuing policies and endorsements, binding coverage, and assisting with complex issues.
• Managing coverage bordereaux, delegating work, maintaining logs and files, and coordinating audits.
• Ensuring data accuracy in the agency management system and performing other assigned duties in compliance with policies and laws.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Eight or more years of related work experience with knowledge of the insurance industry and supervisory experience.
• Valid insurance license and driver's license in-state.

Skills:

• Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to foster teamwork, perform complex math, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
