Atlantic Casualty Insurance Company (ACIC) is seeking an Underwriter II to profitably underwrite new and renewal general liability, property, and package accounts. The role includes renewal premium management, agency relationship duties, and collaboration with the CRO on market opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year college degree strongly desired.
• Minimum of 5 years E&S company P&C underwriting or general agency P&C underwriting experience.
• Professional designations such as CPCU, ASLI, AU or CIC are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Renewal premium in the region of the assigned group of General Agents.
• Underwrite and price new and referred renewal accounts.
• Assist CRO and Underwriting Supervisor on special projects as requested.
• Assist in coverage or classification reviews and workflow changes as requested.
• Mentor less experienced ACIC underwriters on workflow, processing and rating.
