Job summary

Great West, An Old Republic Company, is seeking an Underwriter in the Workers' Compensation department. The role offers autonomy to grow a personal book of business and a robust training program with on-the-job, classroom, mentoring, and self-study components.

We seek candidates with underwriting or related experience and provide a path to success through a national network of agents, insureds, and sister companies. The position supports a three-days-in-office, two-days-remote hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in underwriting, sales, finance, banking, customer service, or a role where relationship building was key.
• Negotiation skills and the ability to analyze risk.
• Ability to market and sell Great West Casualty Company products and services to insureds while partnering with agents.

This position offers an optional hybrid work schedule, with three days working in the office and two days working remotely.
