Job summary

Net Funding LLC is hiring an Underwriter to own the file review behind every deal, checking documents and following underwriting checklists to prepare clean, complete files for approval.

You'll analyze bank statements and verification processes, collaborating across departments and building toward greater decision authority as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in underwriting or loan processing, ideally in revenue-based financing or small business lending.
• Comfort reading business bank statements and spotting patterns that don't add up
• Strong attention to detail and the discipline to follow checklists every time, including on busy days
• Clear written communication with brokers, merchants and colleagues
• Sound judgment and discretion with confidential personal and financial information

Responsibilities

• Promptly review new submissions from broker partners for completeness
• Run first-pass screening: industry, time in business, deposit levels and prior-default database checks
• Analyze business bank statements: average deposits, daily balances, overdrafts and negative days, and payments to other funders
• Work through our business and owner verification checklist
• Order and summarize credit reports for guarantors, following our written procedures
• Collect outstanding documents from brokers and merchants, and help run recorded merchant verification calls
• Complete the pre-funding re-check before money goes out: new liens, new financing and account details
• Keep every file complete and audit-ready for internal quality reviews and our capital partners

We're hiring an Underwriter to own the file review behind every deal: checking documents, working through our established underwriting and verification checklists, analyzing bank statements, and preparing clean, complete files for approval. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role. You'll work with a focused team (and across departments) where your input shapes how we scale, with a clear path to approval authority as the team grows.

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary: $70,000 to $90,000, depending on experience
• Discretionary performance bonus
