Performance Food Group (Performance Foodservice) is seeking an Underwriter to review, analyze, and approve credit terms and limits for commercial customers presented by the Opco Sales Force. This role conducts financial reviews and ensures compliance with policy, enabling smooth onboarding of accounts.
The position requires 1–3 years in credit approval, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines in a fast-paced foodservice environment.
Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers - providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.
The Underwriter will review, analyze and approve credit terms and credit limits to potential and existing commercial customers on applications presented by the Opco Sales Force at projected KPI levels. Conduct regularly scheduled financial reviews of existing common ownership and multi-unit concepts with large dollar A/R balances.
