Job summary

CareConnect is seeking an Underwriter in Greenvale, NY, to monitor and analyze underwriting performance based on claims experience, develop financial projections, and assess financial risks for new and renewal business.

This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field, and a minimum of three years in health product underwriting. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with the sales team to create solutions for customer needs.

Job Description

4. Maintains underwriting standards through the use of models and manuals.
5. Collaborates with sales staff to generate creative solutions for customer needs.
6. Performs related duties, as required.
