ASET Partners LLC dba ASET Partners, an ODRG Company, seeks an Undersea Cable Infrastructure Analyst to assess resilience of national communications infrastructure in Arlington, VA. On-site work is required and Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at hire is expected.

You will analyze undersea cables and terrestrial networks using the IMT and ArcGIS suite to determine fragility, routing changes, and outage implications for government and national security communications.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of specialized experience or Master's plus 4 years or 10 years in lieu of degree.
• Performs geospatial data collection, analysis, interpretation, and management, and prepares presentations of the results.
• Provides analysis for homeland security mission areas including critical infrastructure protection using classified and open-source data.
• Leads technical demonstrations, exchanges, and presentations on the analysis produced.
• Provides guidance and work leadership to junior team members and stays current on geospatial technologies.
• Strong background in telecommunications with hands-on analysis of undersea cable systems, Internet routing, PSTN, or wireless networks.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity and IT security.
• Intermediate or better proficiency with Esri ArcGIS for infrastructure mapping/analysis.
• Specialized experience in public switched network modeling and analysis methods, tools, data.
• Proven research, analysis, and technical writing; capable of briefing senior Government staff.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and run studies of national and international communications infrastructure, with emphasis on undersea cables and backhaul.
• Assess availability, resilience, and performance of systems supporting NS/EP requirements.
• Study Internet/network architecture and evaluate datasets, tools, routing, and technologies.
• Analyze route diversity, COOP, and impacts to Government communications using data.
• Provide IMT-based analyses before/during/after NS/EP events; deliver analysis products weekly.
