Job summary

Plumbing Solutions LLC is expanding our residential slab and underground sewer crew and is seeking dependable, mechanically minded individuals for a long-term career in the plumbing trade.

If you have experience with underground pipe, excavation, site utilities, trenching, or operating a mini excavator, we want to talk to you. Plumbing experience is preferred but not required; we can teach the plumbing side of the trade.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years hands-on experience in residential plumbing installation or underground work.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments.
• Ability to read and understand installation plans and follow standards.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between SC, NC and GA.

Responsibilities

• Join and contribute to a residential slab and underground sewer crew.
• Assist with underground pipe installation, trenching, and site utilities.
• Operate or assist with mini excavator and related equipment.
• Follow plans, install DWV systems, and ensure quality workmanship.

Underground Plumbing & Slab Crew Member

Plumbing Solutions is expanding our residential slab and underground sewer crew, and we’re looking for dependable, mechanically minded people who want to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade.

If you have experience with underground pipe, excavation, site utilities, trenching, or operating a mini excavator, we want to talk to you.

Plumbing experience is preferred, but not required. If you already understand underground construction and are willing to learn, we can teach you the plumbing side of the trade.

Your Experience May Include

• Water and sewer utilities
• Septic installation
• Sitework and grading
• Storm drainage
• Irrigation
• Excavation and trenching
• Underground electrical

• Mini excavator or other equipment operation

What You’ll Learn

As part of our underground plumbing team, you’ll receive hands-on training in:

• Building sewer installation
• Underground DWV systems
• Residential slab plumbing
• PVC piping and fittings
• Proper grade, slope, and fall
• Cleanout installation
• Sleeves and penetrations
• Trenching, excavation, and backfill
• Reading and understanding residential plumbing plans
• Proper installation practices and jobsite standards

Requirements

Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in residential plumbing installation, preferably in new construction environments.

Physical Capability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments, including crawl spaces and attics.

Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and recommend effective solutions during installation and inspection phases.

Dependability: Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and maintain project quality.

Communication: Clear and respectful communication with supervisors, team members, and builders to ensure seamless project coordination.

Work Authorization: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel between job sites across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia as needed.
