The role focuses on inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing sewer and water lines while operating mini excavators and heavy equipment with a strong emphasis on safety.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years in excavation, OSHA 10/Trenching & Shoring, and the ability to communicate effectively with homeowners about timelines and expectations.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in excavation, underground pipe replacement.
• OSHA 10/ Trenching & Shoring class.
• Experience operating mini excavators, skid steers, trench shields, and shoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of underground utility systems to identify defects, leaks, and damage.
• Analyze inspection results to diagnose the cause of issues such as leaks, blockages, or system failures.
• Develop repair strategies and perform repairs, replacements, or maintenance on underground utility systems.
• Plan and execute sewer drain & water line replacement projects, including excavation, pipe removal, and installation of new lines.
• Communicate with residential property owners regarding repairs, timelines, and expectations.
