The ideal candidate has 2+ years in heavy equipment operation, knowledge of excavating practices, and a strong safety mindset. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and flexibility for overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of excavating practices and locate requirements.
• Excellent safety awareness and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Drive, operate and maneuver heavy equipment.
• Read and interpret utilities blueprints for trench digging.
• Maintain safety around equipment and hazards on site.
• Coordinate machine functions with crew members.
• Maintain records of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Be willing to assist with other tasks as needed.
• Maintain attendance and comply with overtime as required.
