Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an Underground Laborer to support underground utility construction projects in Creedmoor, TX. Responsibilities include trenching, material handling, and assisting skilled trades in an outdoor setting.

The role requires physical labor, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work as part of a team in varying weather conditions. A high school diploma or GED is preferred and a pre-employment drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in construction or heavy civil work, underground utilities is a plus.
• Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Excavate trenches and ditches using hand tools and power equipment.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utilities; pipelines, conduit, cables.
• Backfill, compact, and grade trenches.
• Operate small equipment (tampers, jackhammers, cut-off saws).
• Maintain a clean, safe work site and follow PPE requirements.
• Flag traffic and direct equipment to ensure a safe work zone.
