Job summary

Moalej Builders is seeking an experienced Underground Utility Construction Foreman for projects in Southern California. You will lead a skilled crew in installing sewer, water, fire and storm drain systems, read blueprints, and manage daily logs and project documentation.

The role requires strong leadership, safety focus, and the ability to coordinate with management, inspectors and clients to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience as an underground utilities foreman.
• 10+ years in the trade.

Responsibilities

• Install sewer, water, fire and storm drain systems.
• Study blueprints, specs, site conditions and P&L reports to plan procedures.
• Perform takeoffs and calculations for purchasing and scheduling.
• Set grades and elevations using equipment.
• Record production with P&L reports and as-built drawings.
• Maintain daily logs, timecards and field work orders.
• Prepare project documents, incident and HR reports on time.
• Coordinate with superintendents and authorities to meet requirements.
• Lead the crew to complete objectives on time and within budget.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, organized site.
• Coordinate equipment, crew and material needs with project management.
