PECO Energy Company is seeking a Field Inspector to oversee excavation near PECO underground facilities and ensure compliance with PA One Call laws. You will educate excavators and audit field conditions while coordinating with PECO operations to protect public safety and infrastructure.

The role requires strong gas/electric operations knowledge, mapping and reporting tool proficiency, and availability for extended hours during storms or emergencies.

Qualificações

• 10 years' experience with natural gas or electric distribution or transmission construction.
• Proficient with PC applications including Word, Excel, Get Map, Byers View Station, e-mail, GT Viewer and Bentley Red Line.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Gas Operator Qualification and ability to become qualified in required areas.
• Knowledge of safe and prudent excavation practices.
• Experience with locating PECO Energy underground gas and electric facilities.
• Work across the entire PECO Energy Service Territory including Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks, Philadelphia and York Counties.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Work independently, prioritize and schedule tasks.
• Serve as subject matter expert on safe excavation activity.
• Ensure compliance with PECO policies and safety standards.
• Complete conclusive reports and interpret PECO maps.
• Be available for extended hours during storms or emergencies.
• Hand dig and perform related tasks as needed.
• Safely operate a PECO vehicle.
• Cover the PECO service territory as required.
• Report to job site at start and sign off at shift end.
