Job summary

LeoTerra Siteworks in Wilmington, NC is seeking a dependable Construction Laborer to support underground utility crews installing water, sewer, and storm drain systems. This hands-on role helps operators and pipe layers perform tasks safely and efficiently.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, perform digging, lifting, and material handling, and follow OSHA safety procedures. The position offers growth opportunities and competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Construction experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in underground utilities is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of underground water, sewer, and storm drain systems.
• Help with trench preparation, bedding, backfilling, and compaction.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist pipe layers and equipment operators as directed.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and grading.
• Use hand tools and small power tools safely and effectively.
