Job summary

Team Fishel in South Bend, IN is hiring Underground Telecom Laborers to join our crew and help complete projects safely and on schedule. You will assist with underground work, pipe and conduit placement, and use power tools under supervision, while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL Drivers is preferred.
• Underground utility experience is a plus.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Must be able to travel.
• Must be able to lift, carry and place heavy objects.
• Bilingual and prior construction experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work as a part of a crew.
• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew leader, Foreman, or Supervisor.
• Handle physically demanding construction duties.
• Assist crew members in placing underground pipes, conduits, manual labor and shovel work, operate power tools.
