Job summary

Sunstall Inc. is seeking a Laborer I to support underground telecommunications construction. The role involves site preparation, restoration, and day-to-day field tasks.

You will safely set up and take down jobsites, operate small tools under supervision, and assist drill and restoration crews as part of a construction team. The position requires outdoor physical work in all weather, a valid driver’s license with a DOT medical card, and completion of the Laborer–In Training program or equivalent

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Successful completion of Laborer–In Training program or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and current DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, setup, and teardown jobsites with proper signage, cones, and barricades.
• Load, unload, and distribute tools, materials, and equipment according to work plans.
• Assist with potholing, locating utilities, conduit placement, and backfill operations.
• Operate small hand and power tools safely under supervision.
• Support drill and restoration crews with day-to-day production needs.
• Maintain organized work areas, vehicles, and equipment.
• Follow safety standards and report hazards immediately.
• Participate in daily tailgate meetings and ongoing training.
