Redpath is seeking an experienced underground operations professional to perform shaft drilling, blasting, and mucking, while operating and maintaining drills, loaders, and hoists. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to procedures in a fast-paced mining environment.

Candidate should have 2–5 years in a similar role, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required. Background clearance and drug screening may be needed.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively.
• Ability to safely use and handle a variety of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to read and understand engineering prints.

Responsabilités

• Complies with Redpath's Policies and Procedures as detailed in manuals, handbooks, directives, SOPs.
• Perform mining operations within the shaft, including drilling, blasting, and mucking.
• Operate and maintain mining equipment such as drills, loaders, and hoists.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist with shaft sinking, development, and maintenance activities.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
• Work with shaft leader and team to achieve production targets.
• Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding mining operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the shaft work area.
• Participate in emergency response drills and procedures.
