Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) is seeking an Underground Predictive Maintenance Technician to join our Cortez team. The role focuses on ensuring reliability of mobile and fixed equipment by collecting and analyzing health data and driving maintenance improvements.

Key responsibilities include data analysis using vibration, oil, infrared and ultrasonic testing, maintaining predictive maintenance records, and generating reports for continuous improvement across the maintenance organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mobile maintenance experience
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies, software, and hardware
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Ability to work a rotating day and night schedule

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze predictive maintenance data from equipment health monitoring systems
• Monitor the health and condition of mobile and fixed equipment
• Maintain databases and predictive maintenance records
• Generate and distribute equipment condition and follow-up reports to maintenance teams and management
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across maintenance processes
• Troubleshoot and support repairs on mobile mining equipment
• Schedule and prioritize work to support maintenance and reliability goals
• Perform other duties as assigned

Cortez - Underground Predictive Maintenance Technician

Are you ready to take the next step in your mining career? Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) is looking for an Underground Predictive Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cortez.

In this role, you will help ensure the reliability and performance of mobile and fixed equipment by collecting and analyzing equipment health data and identifying opportunities to prevent failures and improve maintenance performance.

What You’ll Do

• Collect and analyze predictive maintenance data using technologies such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, diesel emissions, infrared, and ultrasonic testing
• Monitor the health and condition of mobile and fixed equipment
• Maintain databases and predictive maintenance records
• Generate and distribute equipment condition and follow-up reports to maintenance teams and management
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot and support repairs on mobile mining equipment
• Schedule and prioritize work to support maintenance and reliability goals
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Proven safety record and strong commitment to working safely
• Excellent attendance record
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies, software, and hardware preferred
• 5+ years of mobile maintenance experience preferred
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mobile mining equipment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP
• Ability to effectively schedule and prioritize workload
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
• Ability to work a rotating day and night schedule is required
