Location: 218 Sampson Creek Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322
Job Summary
An Underground Power Technician/Laborer assists in the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground electrical power distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities
Install conduit, duct banks, cable vaults, handholes, and related underground infrastructure.
Pull, place, and secure underground electrical cables under the direction of qualified personnel.
Perform site preparation and restoration activities, including grading and cleanup.
Assist equipment operators, linemen, and technicians
Follow utility specifications, project plans, and work instructions.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Adhere to company safety policies
Participate in safety meetings and training programs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Previous utility, or underground utility experience preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to perform strenuous physical labor and lift up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver’s license preferred
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment.
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
