Job summary

Michels Underground Cable, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead project phases and/or multiple smaller projects from bidding to profitable completion while prioritizing safety.

The role requires driving project success and maintaining high quality standards for essential infrastructure work. You will oversee critical cable installations for power, communications, and renewable energy networks, align with company safety programs, and interact with clients to meet expectations and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, construction management, engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience with underground fiber and/or electric projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Project Management software (Primavera, HCSS, etc.).
• Must possess a valid driver license and be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage a phase of a larger project or multiple smaller projects simultaneously.
• Accountable for all aspects from proposal/bidding through profitable completion.
• Maintain a strong emphasis on safety performance throughout the project.
