Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is hiring an Underground Trainee Tech 2 or higher to join our Underground Operations teams in Elko, NV. This role supports a rotating schedule of nights and days, operating a variety of underground equipment to meet production targets while complying with safety, health, and environmental policies.

Responsibilities include performing pre-operation inspections, adhering to lock-out/tag-out procedures, and safely handling muck, rock, and other materials.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and safe work practices are required.
• Perform pre-operation inspections on equipment.
• Operate underground equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Familiarity with lock-out/tag-out procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hand, powered, or mobile equipment to meet production goals.
• Comply with Loss Control, Environmental, and NGM policies.
• Haul truck, conveyor, or related equipment as assigned.
• Perform preop inspections and ensure safe operation.
