Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines in Carlin, NV is hiring a Mobile Maintenance Helper for the Underground Maintenance department. You will work as part of a team to maintain pumps, pipefitting, and shop equipment in a high-safety environment.

Responsibilities include welding, drilling, grinding, crane operation, and precise measurement. The role requires collaboration across crews and adherence to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Team player who can work with other crews and departments.
• Follow safety rules and company policies at all times.
• Disassemble/reassemble centrifugal pump wet end; know pump terminology and components.
• Basic welding tasks and material fabrication skills.
• Operate drill press, grinder, hydraulic press, portable power tools.
• Read and use measurement tools; understand torque charts.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to accomplish maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with other crews and departments to complete work.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain high productivity and accurate work.
• Disassemble/reassemble pump wet end and set drive components correctly.
• Perform basic welding and operate shop tools and equipment.
• Pipefitting and fabricating: replace lines and repair valves/clamps.
