Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to safely service and maintain heavy mobile equipment in an underground or industrial setting.
• Working knowledge of lubrication systems, diesel equipment, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Strong commitment to safety with the ability to follow underground mining regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work independently in a physically demanding environment while supporting a team.
• Effective communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to equipment care.

Responsibilities

• Perform fueling and lubrication of mobile equipment including loaders, haul trucks, and support vehicles.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify wear, leaks, or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate service logs and communicate equipment status to maintenance and operations teams.
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and support mechanics with basic repairs.
• Follow all site-specific underground safety procedures, including ventilation, confined space, and hazardous material protocols.
