Job summary

Westfill Pty Ltd in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Underground Mining Supervisor to join our Midwest team. Reporting to the Foreman, you will supervise a busy underground operation, read and interpret mine plans, and lead a crew of up to 25 people.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in underground mining, Section 26, WA-based, and a safety-first mindset. This role offers a competitive pay rate, fortnightly pay, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in underground mining operations.
• Proven experience as a Shift Supervisor.
• Section 26 (Essential).
• WA-based (Essential).
• Dangerous Goods Security Card.
• Ability to pass Pre-employment medical to include DAS.
• National Police Clearance or willing to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Direct a crew of up to 25 people and lead by example in a well‑cultured team.
• Read and interpret mining plans including drill plans, charge plans and mining instructions.
• Manage the underground mine on a day‑to‑day basis protecting personnel, plant and infrastructure to a high standard.
• Professionally liaise with Mine Foreman, Project Managers and the Client.

Westfill Are Seeking An Experienced Underground Mining Supervisor To Join Our Team In The Midwest. Reporting To The Foreman You Will Be

• An experienced Shift Supervisor required for busy narrow vein operation. (S26 Compliant)
• Have experience and knowledge in conventional production and development forms of mining.
• Able to read and interoperate all mining plans including drill plans, charge plans and mining instructions.
• Able to direct a crew of up to 25 people and at times lead by example in a well cultured team.
• Be safety focused and driven to place safety in front of production.
• Able to achieve high production and development output safely and efficiently with regard to client priorities.
• Able to manage the underground mine on a day-to-day basis protecting personnel, plant and infrastructure to the highest standard.
• Able to professionally lease with Mine Foreman, Project Managers and Client alike.

What you'll need:

• 10+ years' experience in underground mining operations.
• Proven experience as a Shift Supervisor.
• Section 26 (Essential)
• IT skills for CMMS and scheduling tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Safety-first mindset.
• WA-based (Essential).
• Manual Drivers Licence.
• Dangerous Goods Security Card.
• Ability to pass Pre-employment medical to include DAS.
• National Police Clearance or be willing to apply for one.
