Job summary

Eagle Mine is seeking an Underground Miner to safely and efficiently advance all lateral development in underground operations. You will operate jumbos, loaders, bolters, jacklegs, and trucks to move ore and support infrastructure.

You will perform drilling, blasting, mucking, and bolting, monitor explosives, and ensure safe working conditions, with shift data entry into Deswik.OPS and participation in HSEC training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6+ years of experience operating haul trucks.
• 1–5 years of underground hard-rock mining experience.
• Experience around stressed ground preferred.
• Ability to obtain clearance to work with explosives.
• Must work safely in an underground environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate jumbos, loaders, bolters, jacklegs, and trucks safely and proficiently.
• Perform drilling, blasting, mucking, and bolting with proper sequencing.
• Report safety hazards or equipment issues immediately.
• Fill out pre-shift safety checklists for operating machines.
• Enter shift data into Deswik.OPS during shifts.
• Track explosives inventory daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Safely transport explosives within the mine.
• Train other employees on safe operation of required machines.
• Participate in operational and safety training.
• Perform routine greasing, oiling, servicing, and cleaning of machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
