Job summary

First Majestic Silver Corp-Jerritt Canyon Gold seeks an Inventory Controller to maintain accurate records of underground mining parts, tools and consumables. You will monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and coordinate material staging for maintenance work orders.

Responsibilities include identifying obsolete inventory, ensuring proper labeling and storage, and collaborating with maintenance to forecast parts requirements for safe, continuous operations at the Elko, Nevada site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; post-secondary SCM preferred.
• 3–5 years inventory control or warehouse experience.
• Experience in mining, heavy industry, or equipment-intensive ops preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for parts, consumables, and tools.
• Monitor quantities, reorder points, min/max levels and safety stock.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories; reconcile discrepancies.
• Identify obsolete or excess stock and advise disposition or redistribution.
• Ensure proper labeling, part numbers, units of measure and storage locations.
• Support forecasting and replenishment for maintenance and production needs.
• Coordinate staging and issuing of materials for work orders and maintenance.
• Work with maintenance to identify critical spare parts and material needs.
• Ensure timely availability of parts for underground production and maintenance.
