The Underground Mining Automation & Autonomous Systems Engineer provides technical engineering expertise and consulting support for automation and autonomous systems in underground mining operations. The role supports clients through technology assessments, frontend studies, system definition, and project execution related to automation‑ and autonomy‑enabled underground mining environments. This position requires hands‑on underground mining experience, strong understanding of automation, control systems, and digital mining technologies, delivering robust, reliable, secure fit‑for‑purpose solutions that improve safety, reliability, productivity, and operational readiness of underground operations. This is a full‑time hybrid position based at a Worley office location in Canada or the U.S.
For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is CAD $166,832 to $245,341, commensurate with experience.
For Denver, Colorado based candidates, the salary range is USD $163,863-$240,975 annually, commensurate with experience.
Application of the pay band: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
