Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation in Washington State is seeking an Underground Miner to perform underground construction, operate loaders, and support mine development with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. The role requires adaptability, independence, and teamwork to ensure reliable operations and timely project progression.

The candidate will routinely operate underground equipment, perform inspections, maintain systems, and assist with utility installations while adhering to Kinross safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three (3) years of underground mining or underground mine construction experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain MSHA Part 48 Underground Miner certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground mobile equipment such as loaders, scissor decks, telehandlers.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and report concerns.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.
• Install and maintain underground ventilation and pumping systems.
• Assist with underground utility work and site coordination.
