Job summary

Northern Star Pogo Mine in Delta Junction, Alaska is seeking a Maintenance Foreman to oversee and guide the maintenance team in underground mining operations. This permanent position offers job security with excellent remuneration packages including bonuses and benefits.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of production experience in mechanised hard-rock mining and demonstrate knowledge of mining technology. Working conditions include a 2-week on, 2-week off schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of production experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground mine.
• Extensive knowledge of mining technology and heavy production equipment.
• Experience in contract management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily management and supervision of the maintenance team's working areas.
• Develop and maintain safe work procedures following MSHA regulations.
• Ensure efficient ore mining to planned targets.
