Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geological Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years in geology within mining; underground experience preferred.
• Field mapping experience is essential.
• Ability to compile, interpret, and analyze geologic data.
• Experience with geological software and database management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect geological field data as part of the mining cycle.
• Enter data and communicate to operations, management, and other departments.
• Inspect drilling operations related to grade control and exploration.
• Log rock cores geologically and geotechnically.
• Use resource estimates, models and drill core databases.
• Delineate ore vs waste to guide mining activities.
• Ship geological samples to assay lab and manage data.
• Update grade-control geology models and reports.
• Support safe mine design and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across geology and operations for decisions.
