Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Experienced Underground Front Line Supervisor for the Turquoise Ridge operations. The role leads an underground operations team, prioritizes personnel, coordinates with maintenance and engineering, and ensures safe and efficient equipment operation.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of underground mine experience with 3+ years in supervision, a strong safety record, and the ability to work rotating night/day shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of underground mine experience.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining.
• Experience with maintenance planning/scheduling preferred.
• Excellent communication to supervise underground teams.
• Strong safety and performance record.
• Willingness to rotate night and day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign personnel as jobs require.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment performs as desired.
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure compliance with mine plans.
• Develop and train employees to standards for safe and efficient equipment operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
