The role requires map-reading skills, a valid driver's license, and 4+ years locating cables, with 24-hour call-out availability and DOT testing compliance. Posting may include St Paul, Newport, or White Bear locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Experience reading Gas and Electric maps or prints.
• Understanding of Gas and Electric distribution practices.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle and operate in all weather.
• 24-hour call-out availability and DOT drug/alcohol testing compliance.
• Minimum 4+ years locating Gas and Electric cable; 6 months locator in last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Locate multiple underground facilities including gas and electric using maps and prints.
• Use electronic equipment to determine precise locations and protect infrastructure.
• Ensure safety of excavators and the public during works.
• Coordinate with field teams and document locations for records.
