Job summary

RP Constructors is seeking an Underground Laborer to join our team. You will prepare and assemble piping systems, maintain grade, and coordinate bedding and materials across varied sites.

We value safety awareness, reliability, and good communication. Candidates should be prepared for long hours, weather conditions, and travel to different locations as needed to complete projects.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work long, flexible hours including weekends in a variety of weather conditions
• Must be detail-oriented
• Able to lift and carry heavy loads
• Able to identify materials, assist in load/unloading materials, and coordinate transportation of resources to different worksites
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, and a team play
• Willingness to travel to different locations and work in a variety of weather conditions

• Prepare and assemble pipe (storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water lines, etc.)
• Maintain proper line and grade
• Coordinate bedding amounts and grade
• Actively look for spots that are off grade or soft
• Handle and transport materials and equipment
• Use power tools and machinery when needed
• Work to meet project completion timelines
• Clearing the worksites of any stones, debris, and equipment before and after work
• Ability to read and understand development plans
• Be familiar with and follow health and safety protocols
