Job summary

South West Plumbing in Seattle is seeking a full-time lead plumber to supervise underground sewer and drain installations and mentor helpers, delivering high-quality work on schedule while maintaining safety and compliance. You will coordinate with crews and customers, ensure codes are followed, and manage materials and tools.

A Washington state license is required; residential service experience is a plus, with a strong emphasis on reliability and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Washington state plumber license (PL01 or PL02) required.
• Underground sewer and drain installation experience; residential service preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local plumbing and excavation codes.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and work with underground install crew on sewer and drain line installations and repairs.
• Ensure all work is performed to code, meets quality standards, and is completed on time.
• Coach, train, and mentor install helpers to develop skills and safety.
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
• Manage materials and equipment to ensure jobs are supplied and tools are in working condition.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams in a professional manner.
• Assist with inside residential plumbing projects as needed.
• Minimize call-backs by delivering quality workmanship on first pass.

Job Duties:
