Qualifications

• Proven field experience operating HDD or directional drilling equipment.
• Ability to read bore plans, maps, and site drawings.
• Solid knowledge of drilling fluids and mud systems.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork on active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate HDD equipment safely and efficiently on job sites.
• Read bore plans and site drawings to guide bores.
• Monitor drilling fluids and adjust parameters for optimal boring conditions.
• Coordinate with locating technicians to avoid utility conflicts.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance on rigs.
• Follow OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly with crew, foremen, and supervisors.
