Job summary

Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, invites applications for an experienced Underground HD Fitter to join our USA International Operations in Elko, Nevada, on a 7/7 Residential roster. The role emphasises mentoring local trades personnel and maintaining safe, high-performance underground equipment.

You will work with Sandvik, CAT and Atlas equipment, demonstrate faultfinding skills, and ensure downtime is minimised. A full pre-employment medical and site clearances apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post apprenticeship experience in underground mining
• Experience training less qualified tradespeople
• Knowledge of SANDVIK, CAT and Atlas equipment and automation systems

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing to mobile equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with procedures
• Mentoring, coaching and developing national trades personnel
• Minimise downtime on machinery through skilled faultfinding and maintenance
• Record and report maintenance activities accurately
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in workshop and working areas
