Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking an Underground Haul Truck Driver based out of our Lake Lynn, PA quarry to support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. Work with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment and haul loads of stone to the primary crusher.

Day-to-day duties include promoting safety, complying with safety rules, maintaining equipment, and learning to operate other underground gear such as loaders and bolters,

Qualifications

• 3-4 years experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• Positive, Team-based attitude
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet
• Ability to work in varied outdoor environments

Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Comply with safety rules, policies, procedures and government regulations
• Maintain mobile equipment according to company standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Pre-shift equipment for safety defects and report them to a supervisor
• Learn to operate other underground equipment such as Loaders, Haul Trucks, Scalers and Bolters
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
