Job summary

Sancrest Llc is seeking a Laborer (Telecom Underground) to support the construction and maintenance of underground fiber and coax networks. The role involves assisting with trenching, installing conduit and handholes, and helping with cable placement at job sites.

You will follow prints and specs, operate hand and power tools, and ensure the work area remains safe and organized on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work area.
• Comfort working outdoors in varied conditions.
• Ability to work effectively with a crew and follow instructions.
• Practical understanding of underground installation tasks and job site practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job sites and assist with trenching and excavation activities.
• Install conduit, handholes, and other underground telecom components.
• Help pull and assist with the placement of underground cable.
• Backfill trenches and perform site restoration to required standards.
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools; support equipment operators as needed.
• Follow prints, specifications, and field directions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the job.
