Job summary

Centerline Communications LLC in Fairfield, ME is seeking a field laborer for telecom underground construction. Under the direction of the Construction Manager, you will perform general labor duties such as loading, digging, and placing underground cabling, with CDL-A strongly desired.

Travel across New England is required, with hotels provided and per diem. You must be 21+, hold a valid driver's license, pass random screenings, and be able to lift 40 lbs repeatedly.

Qualifications

• Over 21 years of age with valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel throughout New England; hotels provided and per diem.
• Overtime is available weekly.
• CDL-A license strongly desired.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor.
• Must pass OSHA-10 within 90 days; company training.
• Must pass DOT physical.
• Experience in underground utility or communications construction is a plus.
• Able to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with underground utility construction tools and site safety.
• Drive to and from job sites as needed and perform general labor.
• Travel throughout New England with the Underground Crew.
• Maintain safety for self and crew; follow procedures.
• Make independent judgments and perform repetitive tasks.
• Stay in regular contact with coworkers and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
