At TelCom Construction, as an Underground Construction Superintendent, you will oversee the productivity and quality of daily operations across multiple crews. You will coordinate with the Supervisor or Outside Plant Manager to ensure customer satisfaction.

What you'll do as an Underground Construction Superintendent

• Coordinate jobs with subcontractors and management
• Organize equipment, materials, and labor for timely project completion
• Verify accuracy of locates, materials, and billings
• Request locates via calls or emails as needed
• Complete change orders and communicate with contract administrators and billing
• Prepare final as-builts and unit tab sheets
• Perform redlining processes
• Support safety policies and procedures enforcement
• Assist in employee management and retention
• Handle paperwork related to employee accidents and injuries
• Maintain DOT documentation if required
• Review and approve employee time-cards
• Manage materials with spreadsheets
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience
• Knowledge of quality and safety processes
• Ability to read instructions, memos, and diagrams
• Ability to perform calculations related to area, distance, and proportions

Ability to apply reasoning to instructions and understand installation processes. Knowledge of relevant software and maintaining valid DOT health card and driver’s license are required. Travel may be necessary.

Pay Range: $30 - $40/hr
