Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a safety‑driven Cable Splicer to construct, repair and maintain underground electrical systems. You may work energized or de‑energized lines and travel to various job sites, including out‑of‑state locations, as required by operations.

Responsibilities include leading crew members, training apprentices, and performing live‑line work with proper PPE. A CDL is required, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years of underground experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Extended work hours including weekends, holidays, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and repair underground power systems.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and ground personnel.
• Install and repair underground conductors and related hardware.
• Operate heavy equipment (backhoe, bucket/digger trucks, mini excavator).
• Work in confined spaces and near energized equipment.
• Perform live-line work using appropriate PPE and gloves.
