Job summary

Eversource Energy in Massachusetts seeks a Splicer Helper to support underground and aerial cable installation, operation, and maintenance. You will work under a union contract with scheduled shifts and participate in emergency response duties.

The role requires a high school diploma, CAST and Agility assessments, and a valid driver's license; CDL is a plus. Splicing experience is preferred, and you must live within 30 minutes of the reporting location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass CAST and Agility Assessment.
• Splicing experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license; CDL preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain underground and aerial cable systems.
• Respond to trouble calls and perform emergency work as needed.
• Work a four, ten-hour day schedule as required.
