SRK Consulting is an independent, international consulting practice, providing globally integrated consulting services to the mining and metals sector. We are seeking an Underground and Open Pit Mining Engineer for a remote opportunity in the U.S.A.

The role focuses on technical and project management support for scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, budgeting and scheduling, and regular client interaction, with opportunities to travel internationally and contribute to SRK's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or related field.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years' post-graduate industry experience in underground mining and mine planning.
• Proficiency with computerized mine planning and optimization tools (Deswik, Datamine, MineSight, Vulcan).
• Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills.

SRK Consulting is an independent, international consulting practice, providing globally integrated consulting services to the international mining and metals sector.

We are seeking a Underground and Open Pit Mining Engineer.

Description of Responsibilities:

• Technical and project management support for engineering studies (scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility)
• Technical deliverables, budgeting and scheduling
• Provide operational advice to, and interface regularly, with clients
• Perform due diligence and independent reporting projects
• Actively engage in business development
• Actively engage in development and/or advancement of SRK`s engineering practices
• Other duties as assigned
• A bachelor`s degree in mining engineering or related field
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years` post-graduate industry experience in underground mining, mine planning, and preferably with a diverse range of commodities
• Proficiency with computerized mine planning and optimization tools, e.g. Deswik, Datamine, MineSight, Vulcan
• Strong inter-personal communication and writing skills
• Ability and desire to collaborate with other technical specialists
• The ability to work in a dynamic, flexible workplace
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage own time effectively
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

This position involves working in multi-disciplinary teams on a range of projects both nationally and overseas; international travel may form a significant part of the role.
