Job summary

Vanguard University is seeking a Student Success Coordinator to support retention and timely degree completion for traditional undergraduates. You will advise students, assist with scheduling and graduation planning, and serve as the main contact for program completion.

You will work closely with the Director of Undergraduate Advising and Retention and collaborate with campus offices to ensure student success and persistence. A Bachelor's degree and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential student records and exercise discretion per FERPA.
• Alignment with Vanguard University mission and faith statement.
• Exceptional organizational skills and accuracy.
• Experience with databases or student information systems.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work with students, faculty, staff, and campus partners.

Responsibilities

• Advise traditional undergraduate students on degree requirements and major/minor options.
• Assist with semester schedule planning and graduation timelines.
• Serve as the primary contact for student inquiries and enrollment issues.
• Coordinate with campus offices to support student success and retention.
• Maintain FERPA-compliant student records and 4-year plans.
• Participate in recruitment, orientation, and related events.
