Job summary

Vitesse Systems is seeking a Program Manager to lead and inspire a team in delivering advanced antenna solutions within customer parameters.

You will advocate for the customer, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage programs with EVMS tracking and contractual compliance to meet delivery milestones and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of commensurate aerospace experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a role responsible for technical project management and/or subcontracts administration; experience managing complex projects in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
• Experience with identifying and mitigating technical program risks.
• Familiarity with ITAR/EAR export controls; non-US citizens restricted.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the customer while facilitating collaboration and course-correction; drive programs and manage progress within variance targets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and advocate for their needs.
• Negotiate customer requirements to fit within company capabilities and objectives.
• Generate and communicate detailed program plans, budgets, timelines, and resources to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Manage scope changes and plan re-baselining.
• Delegate to ensure full compliance for varying contractual requirements (POs, SOWs, technical specs, procurement, quality clauses, terms and conditions).
• Clarify and manage ambiguous requirements and communications.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
• Coordinate solutions balancing customer needs with priorities, resources, and capabilities.

Responsibilities

• ~ The primary responsibility of the Program Manager is to spend your days advocating for the customer, while facilitating collaboration and course-correction internally. The primary responsibility of the Program Manager is to spend your days driving programs by simultaneously managing all stakeholders, maintaining progress and steering course-correction. You will be responsible for Program EVMS tracking, being accountable to managing program within prescribed variance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree. Bachelor’s Degree may be substituted by 3 years of commensurate experience in an aerospace engineering and manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in a role responsible for technical project management and/or subcontracts administration; Experience managing complex and multifaceted projects in either an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
• Experience with identifying and mitigating technical program risks.
