Jefferson College of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position at the Lehigh Valley Campus in Center Valley, PA. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing required.
• Doctoral degree preferred; candidates without a doctoral degree must be enrolled in a doctoral program.
• OB experience required.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of innovative teaching methodologies, curriculum development, evaluation, and supporting students in their journey to become advanced practice nurses or willingness to plan for acquisition of these skills.
• Serve on College committees and participate in College and University activities.
• Evidence of ongoing clinical competency and engagement in professional activities in area of clinical expertise.
• Participation in recruitment activities for the College and University.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate curriculum and student learning experiences across classroom, laboratory/simulation, and clinical settings.
• Collaborate with faculty for course planning and projections; identify resources; oversee selection of clinical preceptors and sites; manage student placement and progression.
• Provide visionary leadership to implement nursing curriculum within the undergraduate program.
• Serve as advisor/mentor to students; participate in college meetings and committees.
• Engage in scholarship, service to community, and clinical practice activities as part of faculty responsibilities.
